Lianda Ludwig
Professional Calligrapher and Artist
My name is Lianda Ludwig and I have been a professional
calligrapher and artist for over 27 years. A former New Yorker,
I had the pleasure and privilege to study with many of the world's
most respected calligraphers. My hand calligraphy was frequently
seen in the Plaza Hotel, and was commissioned by a number of prominent
people and celebrities. My calligraphy, combining graphic design
with hand lettering skill, has been published.
In 1996 I followed my heart's desire and moved
to Tucson, Arizona, to be in warm weather near beautiful mountains.
In 2006 I was fortunate to be able to collaborate
with Karen Dombrowski-Sobel, award winning photographer. Karen's
stunning photography may be seen as the backdrop for a number of
Beautiful Calligraphy's quotations and prayers, found in the the
Ready
Now store.
Karen A. Dombrowski-Sobel
Professional Photographer
 Born
in Buffalo, New York, I received a degree in Interior Design from
the Fashion Institute of Technology. I have worked in architectural
retail design firms as a designer and then a project manager, for
14 years. I continued my education in art and photography at the
School of Visual Arts and the Fashion Institute of Technology while
also freelancing as a portrait photographer and working on fine
art photography. Later I studied digital imaging at Hofstra University
and at Farmingdale University, taking advanced coursework under
John Paul Caponigro at the Maine Photo Workshops.
In 2002 I started “The Photo District Gallery”
in Manhattan, where I curated shows with monthly openings. My work
has has been collected throughout New York, Los Angeles and Japan.
