Many brides are looking for new and original ideas for their wedding invitations. Your invitation is the first hint about your upcoming wedding, and so you want it to look great. You don’t want it to by like anyone else’s invitation, and the good news is there are many choices available. With Beautiful Calligraphy, you can have an invitation that is a totally custom look, even with choosing a stock invitation.
Now this can be done totally online! There are many specialty invitations: for the season, eco invitations, destination weddings, invitations that incorporate ribbons, photos; many more kinds than I can list. Take your time, and browse through the possibilities. If you are willing to use your creativity you now have the ability to make a totally custom look. You can “design your own” invitation that will have a unique look that no one else has!
I’m really excited to be able to now offer custom calligraphy invitations. I’m working with a few choice online companies. First you will pick your style of invitation, and then give me the details. Instead of picking a font, I will write the text calligraphy that will be used to print your invitations. Later on, I can address the envelopes individually (that can’t be pre-printed, although the return address can) By doing it this way you will have a totally custom designed calligraphy invitation!
Of course, you will be able to choose the lettering style of the calligraphy. Perhaps you love a flourished look. Copperplate is traditional, and flourished italic is just gorgeous! Once you have picked the “hand” you will send me your text. When completed, I will provide you with a picture of the finished text for your approval. Then I will send a digital file of your calligraphy text on to your company of choice. This file would then be used for printing on your custom design invitation. There might be a small additional printing fee that will be charged, and it differs from company to company. Be sure to ask what that charge will be so that you won’t be surprised last minute!
In fact, if you don’t want to do the entire invitation in the hand written calligraphy style, you can just decide to have the couple’s name done with beautiful calligraphy, and have the rest of the invitation printed from a computer font choice that you like. You might also consider using calligraphy hand lettering for a logo design to incorporate into your invitation. This would combine the initials of the bride and groom, and can be used as a header, or somewhere in the design of your invitation. You might also consider using a font that you love and then incorporating calligraphy for your names. That will give that “custom” look and keep the costs down even though you will have a totally unique look to your wedding invitation! There’s no limit on how creative you can be!
If you are interested in having a totally unique custom wedding invitation, fill in my custom contact form to send me the text, the style of calligraphy, how many pieces you will need (rsvp card, envelope flap, directions, etc.) and I will get back to you with a price. I’ll look forward to being a part of your happy occasion!
