Motivational Quotes to Inspire You
Motivational Quotes, Inspirational poems can be beautiful to look at, and can remind us of the things that we want to do in our lives. I love reading great quotes. Some are famous quotations by great men and women. Some could have been said by John or Mary Doe. Some are my personal quotes! I particularly love inspirational quotes.
I have collected quotes for years, and have them categorized into many different categories. I have quotes about friendship, musical quotes, quotes from sports, quotes about pets, quotes from lawyers, and so many other subjects!
On the rare times when I'm not feeling very positive I go to my motivational quotes and read. They are truly inspirational. I call them "Words to Live By". In fact, one of the quotes that I keep right in view of my desk was said by Bonnie Raitt: "It took me a long time to get here, but I'm right on time". I actually heard her say it, and wrote it down immediately before I could forget it! To me, it reminds me that wisdom is something that we earn with our years of this planet, with paying attention and hopefully learning from our experiences!
Motivational quotes help to remind us that we can do better, be better, be happy in spite of whatever circumstances we find ourselves. Everything is temporary; the only constant thing in life is "change". Now you're hearing Lianda, not only the professional calligrapher, but the philosopher and coach. For those of you who have gotten to this page, you may be interested to know that I also am a HeartMath® stress reduction coach. I think that collecting quotes, working as a calligrapher since 1979 and getting my master's degree in counseling in 1976 have all come finally come together for me, as Bonnie Raitt explained in her quote above.
